Exploration gripe

Why are wrecks scannable in deadspace pockets with the use of dscan. this should be removed, it can take an explorers hrs to find a ded plex in low sec burn it though to the last stage and oh a pirate gang come in use d-scan and find a ded plex simply based on the overview wrecks. utter ****

so Ur giving the guy that has chosen his proffesion to explore a rather long winded excercise as it is.
And then giving pirates the very basic option of clicking dscan found a plex.

And considering most pirates only run in gangs cause solo they wouldnt be half as good as they like to think they are. the solo explorer doesnt even have the option to fight.

You can warp to stuff from d-scan?
I thought you still had to probe it down.

Hell, even I have a fairly startling percentage of solo kills. Most PvP guys do.
You're thinking of nullsec dwellers and actual griefers. Stop QQ'ing about getting blow'd up, and look at facts, before you lambaste everyone that likes to kill other players without knowledge of how it all actually works. Most of us PvP primarily because it's more challenging (and therefore, more enjoyable) than shooting NPC's.

Its a pain in the ass but if you want to cloak or not appear to be running a plex or ratting - shoot your wrecks. I do it, I target 7 npcs. Kill them all. Target their wrecks. Pop them. Then if someone comes into system. I hit cloak. I appear to be nowhere.

Oh and I also rename my ship one of the local peoples ship - ie: Sabre234's Ishtar. So it appears to be a ship in a POS or something.

That's actually exactly why I stopped naming my ships "(insert current fleet member's name)'s Frozen Corpse", during PvP roams. That's actually the only part of the EULA I don't like, and only for that specific reason.

No you can't, it's the ship which is pretending to be someone else's ship not you, you still pretending to be a internet spacship pilot, just one flying a pretend spaceship which is pretending to be someone else's pretend spaceship.

I've been wondering about this. My ship should properly be named 'Incursus of Doom!!!' as a warning to the poor fool who is thinking about warping in but sometimes I change it to '[Fred the Obvious Farmer]'s Incursus' to trick them.

You can't warp to people or wreck from d-scan, they would still have to probe you down. Maybe it is YOU who should be watching your d-scan so you know when to GTFO.

if they can see your wrecks then they can aswell see your ship on d-scan. And when that happends you better prepare to GTFO when combat scanner probes appear on your d-scan.
