My drinking has increased, and there is a red spot on my forehead from banging it against my desk.

This can only mean one thing: Jarod Garamonde is trying to download, install, and log on to Singularity, again.

The sound of tortured screams and a massive shortage of rum strike at the heart of mid-Missouri (I'm NOT from this state.... it's the Army's fault I live here) like a volley from a blaster-fit Hyperion.

tl;dr: It doesn't work. HELP ME!!! FOR THE LOVE OF THE GODS, PLEASE HELP!!!!

Derp. Unless something has changed you do NOT need to re-download the client to access Singularity. Copy, edit shortcut parameters, patch et voila. What?

That would have been awesome information if the fixit tool worked.
Maybe it's my borked install of the awful Windows8.

Considering that my Firefox browser is hopelessly non-functional, no matter what troubleshooting steps I take, I can believe this assessment. Of course, it also might be the fact that I own a Samsung laptop.

Well, the launcher is re-installing, right now. I'm hoping to get my hands on one of those new SoE ships, and hopefully check out the new features on the Marauders. I hear tell Bastion mode is amazing.

Okay.... so here's the problem that prompted me to start this thread. Re-installing didn't fix it.

The launcher still wants me to log on to TQ, not SiSi. I downloaded the specific SiSi installer, and to no avail. What do I do, from this point?

Are you sure you edited the command line in the shortcut for the second EVE folder correctly?

The launcher will still give stats and messages for TQ even if it's pointed at SiSi I believe...

Now, this part is baffling me.

The OS won't allow me to set the target of the shortcut to what the guide says to. It's not a valid target, for some reason.
