Help for new players

Fleet ops



The Miners Lounge is an in-game chat channel where people can get together and get advice, help, find mining fleets to join, or just chat with the community.

We have a very active and friendly community and several channel operators to keep it clean and friendly.


Rules:
Do:

  • Discuss Belts, rats, gankers and ore prices.
  • Share resources such as graphs or charts.
  • For up mining fleets
  • Have fun


Don't:

  • Advertise corps.
  • Beg, Spam or Scam.
  • Use this channel to find targets.
  • Argue with channel operators or other members.

We also have a mailing list called Miners Lounge, join it to get mail updates on gankers, weekly channel newsletters, and other channel/mining related news.
Weekly newsletters are sent after downtime every saturday.

Raffles:
We are not currently running any raffles, check back often.

Newsletter Corp advertisement:
Every week we send out a newsletter containing channel and mining related news. At the bottom of this newsletter we allow a corp to advertise. Over the week, corps can "bid" on the position, with the starting price at 5mil and bids going up in multiples of 500k. On Friday I will contact the highest bidder, who will then send me their corp ad and their payment. The ad will then be featured in the newsletter the following day.
The same corp may not be featured in the newsletter 2 weeks in a row, meaning if your corp is featured 1 week, you may not bid the following week.

To join the channel simply join "Miners Lounge" in game. If you don't know how message me in game or search the internet.

That seems like an awful rule. If you cannot argue and disquss, why sit in a channel? Life isn't about fun, games and chatting.
