Hello,

I'm having a weird problem on one of my PI planets, I recently moved to new system and set up my PI there... I'm making P2 on 3 gas planets and I got this skills:

Command Centers Upgrades - 4
Interplanetary consolidation - 2
Planetology - 2
Remote sensing - 3

I make on all 3 planets same PI (coolant) and all of them are on Gas planet. Ofc I upgrade my command center to the maximum level I can with my current skills and it's just standing there nothing connected to it.

This is the layout I use:
1 2 3
\ | /
4-0-5
/ | \
6 7 8

0- Launchpad
1- Electrolytes Factory
2 - Extractor (Ionic Solutions)
3 - Electrolytes Factory
4 - Water factory
5 - Coolant factory
6 - water factory
7 - Extractor (Aqueous Liquids)
8 - Coolant factory

Basically each extractor get PI 0 from the planet then move it to the launchpad > from there to the P1 factories and back to the launchpad > from there to the P2 factories and back to the launchpad.

all planets are same (gas) all of them got same level of Command center and all of them got same tight layout and planning.
on 2 planets I managed to use 5 Extractor heads on each extractor (total of 10) and on one planet only 3+4 (total of 7)
why?

Based on the size of the planets, your links take more juice to run. I'd guess on the one planet, it's larger than the others.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Gas Giants are either huge or bloody MASSIVE, so links eat lots grid.
You could also add couple silos and take turns in extracting aquatics and ionics for better efficiency.

Yes, this has to do with Link length on large planets.

Also, get Planetology to 4 and Advanced Planetology to 3 for better extraction efficiency, but that's just a side issue here.

planet size > Confirmed.

I moved my installation to a new planet which was even smaller and managed to fit everything with 11! extractor's heads,
thanks!
