Diana Dial is the proprietor of EVETimeCode. When we originally approached her about having a spotlight, we thought it would be about her business and how she's sponsored so many EVE community institutions. Instead, it became a story of how EVE Online and FanFest can change a person's outlook on life and themselves.

Also met Diana in the PvP tournament room and had a brief chat, she is indeed a very lovely lady! Nice to see the spotlight :D

P.S - minor typo with "Celtric cross" :p

Diana is lovely and she is like a big sister now. But this spotlight makes me sound like a socially awkward hermit. :(

For the record, I had not long arrived, was sober and the mostly Goon barflies in the Celtic Cross had been there since lunchtime - they were practically swinging from the chandeliers. Damn right I was a bit overwhelmed. I needed to down a few to have any hope of catching up.

I have since learned my lesson. The appropriate behaviour at any EVE-related social event is to arrive early and arrive drunk.

Not only does Diana run a super business, but also puts a very human and friendly touch to contact with customers and business partners. Nice to know more about her background, full respect to Diana!

Not to be a grammer nazi but there is a couple of spelling mistakes and wrong grammer in that spotlight, "She quickly noticed as she walked around that the could look any person at the convention in the eyes, smile, and start a conversation." that T on the is suppose to be an S I'm guessing. "and felt confident that she could talk to anyone even if she didn't know a think about ship fittings!" again I believe that K on the end of think is suppose to be a G. sorry couldn't help myself CCP Eterne Smile Don't know why this has only shown up on my eve launcher today considering it is 7 days after the post.. nvm.
