Whats the best item you have found in a Relic/Data site?

I really like doing non-combat exploration, but it seems to be a very weak form of steady income. Some of my friends say it would be way better to just train up to use logi ships and fly in incursion fleets for a steady 35mil ISK every 15 or so min. I gotta say its hard to make an argument against that when I scraping 1-2 mil for 20min worth of work in low security systems doing hacking and analyzing.

So what are some of your big gold items you have found? How often do you find things that make good income? Do you do scanning to support your R&D toon, or just to sell the materials?

True Sansha Control Tower BPCs are my favorite.

Faction BPcs are worth a fortune but their spawn rate is super low (hence the price). I have only ever seen 1 faction gun BPC and I was doing relics and Datas for about a month or 2 (low sec).

Null sec sites are much better for income, a corp mate of mine does them and often get 15-20 intact armour plates per site (relic).

Yup. Control tower BPCs are the best drops, followed by the few actual decent POS mod BPCs. Decryptors are alright. Certain T2 rig BPCs can be nice, but the salvage to make them is often better. XL and medium ASB prints are good finds as well.

As far as doing sites to support industry: no. It's too unpredictable to make a difference to a serious industrial operation and the number of sites you'd have to run to keep one running would be staggering. Exploration stuff is either purely supplemental to your own industrial operation or bound for market where it aggregates into something worthwhile for someone else.

Related question to the above....what containers are worth trying to get in the mad grab? Do they all have potentially good stuff, or are there a couple that only have good or only bad stuff?

I thought scrap containers were bad for a bit until I grabbed some salvage out of them instead of metal scraps. I imagine bpcs are in the data ones (though only goten data sheets so far). Anyone got a list of loot per container type?

They cannot be added to the overview, exactly for that reason I suppose.

Very handy guide. Proves to me what I thought, that my "combat site Drake" is not a good ship to do general scanning/hacking/arch sites in. Might need to get a cloaky and do some low-sec exploring, or just fit out an interceptor for high sec.

best i've found was a 2 run t2 bpc of a capital cap control circuit which netted me around 700m iirc, other than that i've gotten a few battleship sized t2 rig bpc's and a few pos turret blueprints worth between 50-200m.
