Is there any use to it? Seems the only selling point is its faster than most caldari cruisers but looks like the dps is lower than a regular Caracal.

I use the navy osprey quite a bit, it is an extreamly effective heavy point ship / anti- tackle boat. Its everything you want in a ship for fleet work. It provides great fire support to your bigger, harder hitting ships. Here are some fraps of me in my Nosprey + 1 Oracle dunking gangs:

This last video is me using a scythe fleet, but again its used for pure anti- tackle, and fire support. Same idea as the nosprey.

The navy Osprey is actually good now. It can serve you well as an de-frigger like the navy scythe and omen, both in 100MN AB and dual prop variants. Its also very good as a heavy tackler of shorts.
