Hi guys,
Since I'm gonna join a corp that does mining inventions etc I m gonna have a big cargo ship and transport the stuff they need .The thing is that, is there a way or tool so I can see what the POS of our corp has in it?We are talking for big amounts of minerals and other stuff so they can built what they want. But if someone would have already take them something don't want to waste time going there to see what the POS has in it(tritanium and other minerals etc).Thank you in advance.

EveHQ does have an asset viewer in the Prism plug-in, that works for both characters and corporations. You just have to add an API key for the corp with the required rights to view and update the stuff in your POS. Only thing is that the asset value it displays may be inaccurate in case you have T2 BPCs stored anywhere, cause it treats those like BPOs, increasing the total value by quite a bit.

Depends on how much you have to move, and which you can afford.

Personally, I own 6 Charon freighters and 2 Orca. I don't use the Orca very much.

JEveAssets, if you have a corporate API key, will show you were stuff is, including in assembly arrays, labs and so on.

As for transport, that depends on volumes. moving 89 million trit in an orca would take several trips. Or one freighter trip.

For mining ops, train orca.

For hauling stuff, use courier contracts.

kinda hard to use courier contracts to get stuff to a POS Blink

Ask your CEO (or director I think) to set one up.

This. Only your CEO or directors have the necessary access rights to see what's where in the corp's assets.

although, this then opens them up to all kinds of fun (such as not being able to hide the prints they're using for "special projects" the proles don't know about)... so they might tell you to get lost.

I ll be a director probably since it will be a new corp and all will have same right except ceo.The api is the same as i will use in EFT?

no, you'll need to create a new one that uses the "Corporation" option (instead of "Character" that you use with EveMon/EFT/etc).

Depends, imho. A freighter is quite useful if you plan on moving around high volumes of low-cost items, such as minerals, ore and manufactured items. 2B in total value is about the threshold of stuff you should transport. Traveling in a freighter is usually a real pita, slow as hell, long align times, and autopiloting is generally a bad idea. But it's a good long term investment if you need it. Otherwise, Red Frog Freight is a good alternative for courier contracts. They get the job done and it doesn't take that long for them to complete a contract.

The Orca on the other hand... Well, besides mining ops, it's probably one of the most versatile non-combat ships in EVE. You can do some hauling with it while training for a freighter, it's much tougher than a T1 industrial, has about 70k m³ (don't fit expanded cargoholds or cargohold expander rigs. Always fit for the highest EHP possible) and you can use it as a mobile base of operations, should you have more than one character. I would recommend something like this:

[Orca, Mobile Base/Hauling]
Damage Control II
Reinforced Bulkheads II

Prototype 100MN Microwarpdrive
Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
EM Ward Field II

Small Tractor Beam II
Small Tractor Beam II
Salvager I

Large Ancillary Current Router I
Large Core Defense Field Extender I
Large Core Defense Field Extender I

Drones and high slots up to your taste, low slots are out of the question. Deactivate auto repeat on the microwarpdrive, target a gate, press "warp to", hit the mwd button, and 10 seconds later, you're on your way.
It's a relatively fast way to travel, compared to a freighter, and the combined cargohold including the corp hangar is big enough for some mid-scale hauling.

Orca is also now only 17 days training. If you're not going to mine, the training isn't particularly useful, but it's faster than raw training for a freighter.
