As the title says, I been enjoying Eve since my return just over a month now. My corp. runs nightly roams and fleets involving PvP and yes I admit I do get podded and don't "ragequit" LOL!! I take my losses and learn on how to better my ships with proper fits and make sure I have the skills to go along with it.

Learning the art of being a pirate tho does take time and skill to be effective and I am still learning even today. When I have questions my corp. mates and ally usually have an answer from their experiences to which I adapt to fit the way I play and go onwards.

So, in closing, I been enjoying my Eve and can see a long future ahead.

Welcome !
What many don't get is, you are not spoon fed with content here. It is here, you just need to grab it. The adrenaline rush before a kill / loss , even after so many battles can be hardly compared to any other game.
On the other hand, sorry to hear you got addicted too. If you find a nice bunch of guys to play the game with the outlook is not so bright, you will probably stick around for years.
Have fun!

Thank you gentlemen!! Even now sitting in a belt mining I thought back to when I was in Eve the first time around, of the hours spent mining, learning the arts of PI and other indy related stuff. But when I was away and keeping up on what was happening, I thought well maybe I oughta give it another go at it.

In my mind tho I thought about the dark side, of being a Pirate or Mercenary. I even thought of being a "drug lord" as well!! But there's so many different avenues, so many directions one has to find for them selves what it is that draws them to this universe. It has a special feel to it, it has it's own mind that we all share in likeness or try to.

I even thought about the time it takes to learn even the basics and when you add the time it takes to learn the core skills, it equals time spent in a classroom, whether it's high school, college or a university in which years of study to graduate with a diploma or degree, THEN it becomes something totally different than the norm.

In closing for now, my Eve experience is becoming more and more of an eye opener with each passing moment, of skilling up to some goals I have set for later.
