CharID to CharName and viceversa Conversion

Hey folks, so I've been messing around with these two APIs:

https://api.eveonline.com/eve/CharacterName.xml.aspx

I was wondering why when you convert a name to an ID (or viceversa) it doesn't respond with an Entity Type ID (1377, 2, 16159, etc) as well. I also realize that these API calls work for ANY object in the game not just CharacterID/CharacterName (Pilot, Corp, Alliance, random objects, etc).

I also realize that CREST is slated to be out SoonTM, but I was wondering if this could be implemented as an extra attribute on the XML dump. It would also be amazing if CREST would have partial name searches like what we have when we link characters in-game.
