Who should play Roger Ebert (and Russ Meyer for that matter) ??

There's a Roger Ebert/Russ Meyer biopic in the works!

"... it will be a depiction of his relationship with Russ Meyer that we first see Rog as a central dramatic figure onscreen. Meyer, the FASTER, PUSSYCAT! KILL KILL! and VIXEN! director, was friends with Ebert for nearly 35 years until his death in 2004, and it is that relationship and it's genesis that will serve as the focus for an upcoming biopic."

"...a script entitled RUSS & ROGER GO BEYOND centering around the production of BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS, which, of course, Meyer directed and Ebert wrote."




Hopefully it covers 1976 when Russ and Roger went to London to gear up for Russ directing a film about The Sex Pistols, a project that eventually morphed into Julien Temple's "The Great Rock-N-Roll Swindle".

Oh.....and I vote for Jonah Hill as Roger.

Love to see this, and I would love to have seen how the Swindle would've turned out had Meyer not walked off the set!

More to the point (with apologies Krixtal): Who will they get to play Cynthia Meyers? or Tura Satana? or Haji? or ... Darlene Gray!?
