Am I the only one who feels that the mouse wheel zoom direction is totally wrong? Surely people will get used to it but I just decided to return back to eve from a break and it (the zoom direction) felt terrifying.

Its a bit same thing with other games/software. Sometimes you have to drag the picture/landscape/whatever and in some software you'll move the camera. Sometimes it feels a bit confusing. Ugh

edit: I remember that the zoom direction used to be the opposite a long time ago. Does anyone remember what was 'the reason' for the change?

For me, it's the left/right click camera controls that feel backwards whenever I go back to Eve after playing what seems like any other game in existence.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

my mouse is pretty well aged, and the scroll wheel gums up to the point of not being usable (don't wanna replace my mouse because I love the shape of it in my hand and the button positions.) left+right-click zoom is so much better anyway. Oddly enough, with CCP's track record with their UI implementation, the mouse controls are pretty much as effective as I could imagine it. Well, except the waste of a radial menu that nobody uses and most people don't realize they can turn off.
