I'm trying to build a damp crow that disrupts at 40km. My missiles hit nicely at that range. I have a mid and I don't know if I want a web that can't reach or a dread EM hardener... needs testing. Thinking the hardener...

Doing a 60 system burn through null sec will go WAY faster now... which is nice because whereas I had to commit time to arranging my gatecamp when solo camping, now a fun and quick option would be to not camp at all but get into an interceptor for a 30 minute suicide roam, meaning I'll actually be able to PLAY more. I really have to rethink everything I do.

As for your null travel T3 becoming almost totally obsolete, not really.

The first thing I tried when I got on Singularity is to hop in a Malediction and warp to one of the combat areas (with t1 warp speed rigs and the 18% warp speed implant).
I still can't get over how fast they are.

Warping around is now my favorite thing to do in this game...

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

totally this. i spent about 30 mins bouncing around bookmarks and stuff in a 4 nano, warpseed rigged claw.

it was great fun until the "i'm going to zoom in as close as i can to your ship every time you change grid" bug pissed me off.

but damn, warping in an inty is great fun now.

I think the bigger question is what is the speed of a plated, 2 trimarked T1 BS now?
For every ship that people are drooling over, there is someone weeping because their ships just got murdered.

People has no clue yet on how damaging this is for PvE income for many BS pilots.

For PvE purposes the warp speed changes shouldn't matter one iota,...

if you don't pay attention to warp to mission/warp from mission times.

1) Request mission
2) undock
3) warp to mission
4) do mission
5) warp back to agent
6) complete mission

overall time to complete 1 mission is really affected by steps 3 and 5 (warp) which affected by warp speed changes

While this is great in a million ways, they really need to set the cargo capacity such that you can't light a cyno in one of these and not merely so that it requires cargo expanders. Having a 15 million Isk ship that moves from system to system in the blink of an eye and is interdiction-nullified is going to enhance power projection quite a bit.

As a long time interceptor fan, I can't wait for this change Lol

Of course, getting to a target and intercepting it is one thing, staying alive while your slow-to-warp fleet arrives is another Blink

My Head is blown Shocked

One thing that drives me mad is a mission runner in a blingy ship running a lvl4 whilst at war in the same mission system.

Currently its oh theres a wt in my local. Ill just happily align and warp and dock and finish my mission later.

However on the new patch it will be

Yep. Think about it, mixed size fleets now will have to calculate a lot more warp speeds to land on grid at the same time. Having your lighter ships land on grid before your cruisers which land on grid before your battleships could be a nightmare. This change is really a massive buff for static fighting forces who start on the same grid.

That, or just fly the same ship speeds.
