Security-Mission overhaul concepts

I think that when you arrive at a mission location you there should be battles between npc's already occurring so you are flying in the think of it, your objectives could be,

To kill as many of a certain ship before a certain timer expires, so kill (x) many ships before a massive big ship is able to warp in and blow up the group :-)

There could be a single target carrier size ship a group may have to overcome at a location,


There could also be a special type of mission where you need to find the code for an interface that drops from one of the npc's before a super-weapon targets a structure that causes it to go super-nova,

( u can see the animation / glow of the weapon causing a sense of urgency and excitement and real danger) :-)

This is a general idea of the direction i think security missions could evolve to.

Agree.

Also, idk why but CCP likes spawning billions of weak ships which could all be replaced by a few strong ones.

The only difference is you have to click ctrl more times.

Because billions of weak ships can be taken out by someone with newby dps.
A few strong ones is a lot harder/ impossible.

Only if you scale the strong ships up with a gigantic active tank.

I don't get how.

Take a frigate rat active tank, put it on a frigate rat. Aggregate several frigate rat ehp/dps/speed in a single frigate. End result is same amount of isk per tick, but less spamming ctrl key.

Isn't really harder or easier in any way, in some ways it's more challenging because it mimics the speed/dps/ehp of a player frigate.
