My idea would be a module that would replace several sentry guns on a gallente tower with a drone weapon bay (DWB). When the POS targets an enemy it then would send out drones to attack the target. The dwb would be like a silo and be inside the shields holding dozens of each drone type but the drones would have to leave the POS shields to attack the target. The dwb silo cpu or power usage would be the same as a normal silo. Or it could use the powergrid of 3 or 4 hybrid sentries.

During combat a dwb will use I hope 10 drones. 5 combat and 5 EW. the 5 EW are webifier, neutralizer, ECM, Target Painter or sensor dampner. The combat drones would be 1 sentry, 1 heavy, 1 medium, and 2 light scouts. The sentry drones will have to deploy outside the POS shields. The dwb will hold dozens of each drone type for a long battle. As drones die they are repalced. All 10 drones will aggron a single target at a time as if they were a single sentry. Maybe if the dwb is replacing several sentry guns the drones can split attention on several ships but the dps won't kill as fast. Range on the dwb could be comparable to a large blaster sentry with upgrades or modules to increase this or drone warpspeed enhancements or drones durability instead. Maybe stay at base stats for the dwb and when the POS owner is online/offline his drone skills will boost the dwb abilities.

The weapon bay would be inside but the drones go outside. If all weapons go outside I can see that.
