Quick reply/reply button confusing

Not sure if this is the right place to post, anyway...

When you activate quick reply, you get the extra box and the orange "post" button appears on the right hand side. However, the orange "reply" button is still there and just as visible - A button which I accidently clicked as I thought "reply" would post, not realising it would take me to the full editor and thus lost all that I had written.

Would it be possible to have whatever was written in the quick reply box copied over to the full editor if the button is clicked?
