So i was playing around with trying to up my rather horrid standings with Amarr while not tanking my rather high min/Gal standings.

So i looked into Tags, now when i handed in some tags to my Minmatar data center i noticed that while i did not take any standing hits with Amarr and Caldari, i did take a standing hit with Ammatar mandate.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out as to what kind of standing hits i may take handing in tags to Caldari or Amarr Data centers, i have looked for this information but all they supply is that standing increase not the hits.

The thing with Ammatar Mandate is due to derived standings. I'm not sure why you would get a derived standings hit but not a hit to Amarr and Caldari in addition. Did you go into your Character Sheet | Standings, click on the Faction Amarr or Caldari and right click Show Transactions. If you got an increase to Minmatar then you should have a corresponding decrease to Amarr and Caldari.

The problem with doing a data center hand in to Amarr or Caldari if you already have high standing with Minmatar / Gall as you said, is that they also have a minimum standing requirement to use the agent, this is listed on relevant pages in the Evelopedia and on the evewiki. So you are unlikely to be able to access these agents. You should also be able to look up the agent ingame by linking their name in a chat channel, right clicking > character, to create link, show info, Agent Info tab to see what standing is required for access.

Your best bet in matters of standings is to look up the Faction Standings Repair Plan on the Evelopedia and use that as a guide to your next step.

The reason you didn't get a derived standings hit with Amarr and Caldari was (most likely) because your standings towards those two are already at the lowest possible level where you will get derived standings hits.

Sounds complicated, so here's a graph.

If you turn in tags at the Amarr and Caldari data centers you will get standings hits towards both Minmatar and Gallente.
