Secondly, I'm not wrong! GSF always boasted favouritism towards them and kick and scream when its show to someone else!

I agree that its unfair to have any favouritism but I find it funny the only major source of these tears is from you guys!

secondly; it's irrelevant if you're wrong or not. CCP simply shouldn't be showing favouritism to any one regardless of who they may or may not be.

I'm more interested to find out what could have possibly made goons start what is obviously a personal vendetta. This is old news and no one batted an eyelid when it happened. Yet now, it's all 'oh noes, eve is dieing!'

Why boycot? They all well deserved every single bit they got. They have sponsored so many events, individuals, corps and alliances like none else out there.
All bloggers get their accounts paid for one year. Should we rant about that also?

The only mistake CCP did is not getting out with the information about their intentions on time. We just need to make clear to CCP that they need to inform the community about such things.

They have every right to reward people that do huge things for their game, they just need to have somewhere written about things like this being possible.

So this is what Mittens' ping last night was about.

I don't play SOMERblink. It's a rip-off and a waste of time. But now I'm tempted to toss a little isk in the pot and play a few times, just because of reasons. Maybe I'll even buy a GTC from a link on their site, to make sure I **** off little kitty even more. ;)

I honestly question the sanity and cognitive abilities of anyone unable to understand that high value dev sponsored handouts to a select portion of the community is in complete contradiction of the "sandbox" they seem to advertise.

In all seriousness this whole thing strikes me as being a bit ridiculous. Community sites like this are what makes EvE so special. Giving something to sites like this harms you all how exactly.... I suspect that those of you shouting the loudest here and in other forums, if you had been on the receiving end of one of these as a gift i suspect you wouldn't be so butt hurt about this.

I have not gotten anything out of CCP other than good fun and i have no issue with gifts like this... why does this matter other than the fact that neither party were exactly up front about it (which was a total home goal)
