Maybe you could spend some time on Drone regions with the expansion

Drones are terrible. Didn't bother with them before the drone poo nerf, and now they're even more useless.

Drone Mission: Pass
Drone Anom: Pass
Drone Exploration: Pass
Drone Region: Where is it so I know how not to be anywhere near there?
(I know where it is, that was an attempted joke)

Adding basic meta loot wouldn't go a long way at all, that would be pretty much the same as doing nothing.

Also adding Drone faction versions of mods would be pisseasy, all they got to do is to rename a few existing mods something they could do on a friday afternoon, least some action would make it look like they see a problem and looking to do more to rectify it, then put a bit of effort into adding some proper content to those regions, they were added in a pre nerfed stage and have never been looked at since.

There is a lot of basic meta loot that would already be proper and thematic. There are minerals to be reprocessed from loot drops for those willing to make that effort. There are market demands for meta modules as well. These factors are what make wrecking out a field worth the effort; the salvage value alone just doesn't cut it. There are currently rather senseless rewards attached to Drone Region escalations, and as far as I know, Anoms and the 10/10 plex escalations never drop the new Officer loot.

To be honest, I don't want to muddy the waters here with unrealistic requests. The next expansion is introducing a new feature that the Drone Regions will get no value out of unless one long standing issue continues to go unaddressed. Asking for anything other than the most basic of fixes demands huge resources and will only stretch out any timeline that potential fixes will demand.
