Why are CCP making these? I know the difference isn't really a big deal, but they should be nerfing warfare links if anything, except info (not to mention all the other things they should do, like give these links a range of 100km or something and make t3s give worse bonuses than command ships, but make link t3s and fleet commands able to be useful in combat).

Odds stacked even more against pro solo dudes Sad

And here i thought "pro solo dudes" already had maxed out gang booster alts sitting offgrid.

Nerfing High-sec is never the answer. It is the question. The answer is 'YES'.

If you are worried that command ships are cramping your *ahem* pro solo one-vs-one PvP, you're doing one-vs-one PvP in the wrong place or against the wrong people, people who have too many accounts and too much ISK to make it worthwhile giving them the satisfaction of PvP. Just let them sit in boredom. P

If they are nerfed, to be honest, the benefit of bringing command ships becomes questionable, as is already the case for the Eos, and to a lesser degree, the Claymore in armor gangs, although they are both round pegs in square holes, or in the Eos case, a round peg where no hole exists. *Moonaura scratches his head and wonders why the armor tanked Eos is mainly useful to shield ECM ships*. If ever a lemon existed in EvE, it's an Eos.

"The game is mostly played by men - 97%. But 40% of them play as women... so thats fine."  - CCP t0rfifrans

Not even 1v1s. It's just much harder to get through gangs or engage them when their BCs outrun your cruiser. As for the eos/claymore, yeah, lol active tanking in gang fights. Not solo, but another thing that sucks is being a proper combat main with 10m in leadership, only to find someone's covert ops probing scout t3 gives better bonuses than you. It's like there's no point in even owning these ships other than for bait, since they're reduced to being slow tanky t1 cruisers.
