…so don't connect your twitch account with facebook, and block the hell out of facebook connect and all its trackers.

Naturally, but none of this can be done with the in-game browser. Remember, twitch will be integrated into the client allowing stream sessions from the client itself.

This game is ruthless...

Sure, but that's largely because none of them have anything to do with the browser to begin with.

One has to do with how you set up your twitch account, the other how you set up your internet connection.

*cough I hate facebook cough. Social media is not for eve. When people notice that the privacy is no privacy anymore the will leave facebook or those people are more stupider that my sisters dog. But again some people are just stupid. Keep your privacy, private don't share it. Because other people get money for your action and you get nothing for it. However If you don`t mind it well end of debate then.

Liked for thinspiration

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise

LOL!!!

Let me see... "MySpace" - still works but mostly Rest In Peace. Yahoo - still there but not *THE* solution it once was. Google! Hmmm.. DuckDuckGo coming up and a lot of annoyances at "features" that keep creeping in. Facebook? ... Sure - today's fad will be the convergence point for the future!!! It already hacks off a lot of people.

Sorry... I do find this funny.

You know why I don't use Facebook? Well, aside the fact that I don't have friends, it's the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste its stink and every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it.

No seriously! I come from the generation where technology does things for you, not the other way around, as is the case for many of the technologies present. I don't want to belong to a service that I can't explicitly control. Facebook is offensive, invasive and a malignant piece of technology. NO, I don't want Facebook broadcasting to my "friends" what I just ate by analyzing my ***** before I've had the chance to **** it out or afterwards. NO, I don't want to be asked every day if I know people. NO, I don't want to use something that is a precarious balance between having private conversations and broadcasting everything I say to the world. I cherish my privacy. Facebook does not and has stated that privacy is outmoded. BS!!!

If I share a detail about my life then know, I've chosen to do so, not due to a change in TOS or EULA or an OOPSIE!

If I had to give up my privacy to play Eve Online to the extent that I would being a member of Facebook, I absolutely would not play Eve online.

Yes, I detest Facebook and the likes.

This pretty much sums it up.

I would consider actually getting a Facebook account if they would integrate some key EVE features... like podding idiots and awoxing corporations.

Especially the latter.

LOL - Someone is drinking the coolaid. I guess you have not heard of the latest trend in social media, the removal of public discussion and feedback in places they never really belonged to begin with. It has already peaked with the trendsetters, now you are seeing the zombies get on the bandwagon that trailblazers are leaving.

Here - millions of people are using the technology incorrectly - lets jump on the bandwagon. Considering CCP has more recognition for interactive design and technology in its pinky than facebook has ANYWHERE, I don't think they need to take the lead of sheep.

After reading the opening statement, I concluded that the OP was intending to be funny and read the rest of the post with that in mind.

OK, everyone who replied with something along the lines of "Facebook, hell no!" or "This is a terrible idea", please train "satire comprehension" to 1 immediately. It's understandable you've neglected it as it's not one of the skill books you get for free in the tutorial and won't help you in PvP, but it only takes a few minutes to train to level 1, so please get on it. For more challenging texts like "A Modest Proposal", you will need to train to higher levels, but to understand the OP's post really requires only the most rudimentary understanding of satire and reading comprehension (which you should already have trained to at least III)

Banish plump Jack, and banish all the world.
