Does this exist? I did a search, and could not find anything up to date. If this exists and someone could provide a link, it would be greatly appreciated and earn you a tip in game.

There is eft/pyfa which are downloadable from some other post in this ships and modules. These programs allow you to select a ship, skills, and fit to see all its stats.

There is EVEmon, which is more known for its skill planer, but has a complete item list of everything in game with base stats, no fitting tool.

There is also EVEhq which is a browser based ship fitting tool. I havent used it too much as it came out after eft, but if you're scared about downloading something, use that.

There is also.... eve droid i think for the android mobile devices. I am not sure if they implemented their fitting tool yet but if so it is in beta. I havent used it and probably wont. (i am scared of beta apps on a phone that has displayed issues already :P ).

Depending on your profession in eve, it is quite mandatory to have at least 1 of the ship fitting tools at your disposal.

Hey sky, get back to work! U 2 cips....

If what you're after is something which will allow you to list all of the various frigates in order of drone bay size (for example) then there was once a site which functioned much like the in-game compare tool - though I'm afraid I can't point you to it (or even say whether it still exists, let alone if it's up to date with the current attributes).
The tools others have listed won't do this (to my knowledge - if there's a function I'm missing then I welcome correction) but they do contain a full range of data which is more likely to be up to date thatn the EVElopedia (unfortunately) and therefore represent a reasonable set of sources for more manual comparison.

It is worth noting however that, although certain attribues are fixed entirely by the ship (drone bay being one of them) the way EVE's fitting system works means that such a comparrison will show you less than half of the information you might need - looking at the largest cargo bays for example will not tell you the most capatious haulers, you would need to account for the number of lows and rigslots available too, similarly the fastest frigate is not necesarily the one with the highest base speed...

This is what I had in mind.

As nobody seems to have anything along these lines that is remotely accurate, I think I might create one and host it on google Docs, provided people express enough interest for me to think it would actually get used.

Here is one that I found. I usually just copy the whole thing over to excel and sort it that way.
