Cover ops frigates - can one fly autopilot and stay stealth?

Hi.

Simple question: if I fly covert op frigate like a Helios and turn on that invisibility module, will I stay invisible after I jump the gate? Or I have to reactivate that module again each time I jump? I wonder if someone can just turn on autopilot and walk through entire eve without risk of being killed?

Thank you for answer.

You need to activate a cloak after every jump.

Ok, thank you. If there is no way how I can turn cloaking device just once for the entire trip, then please close the topic. I got my answer.

No. Just like autopilot add a "don't warp to zero" thing, all modules are disabled in a jump. This will never be changed. There is suppose to be some benefit to manual flying vers AFK.

Well fun is also good.

If i see you autopiloting, you'll die.
Not just your ship, also your pod.

(read that with a smile. APing can be pretty dangerous. No personal offense intended)
(Edit: oh it seems you know that already. My bad for reading half assed)

Even then if you jump gate to gate you're still pretty silly(even lowsec from time to time).

You'll occasionally hit a smart bomber, which will usually mean instant death(one smart bomb 200 something damage, and the ship with 7 or 8).
