Shouldn't the order of transfer be first in, first served? Can't your fleet coordinate jumps properly?

The only restriction I would imagine putting on bridges (and star gates) is a limit of mass per jump & mass per hour (like unstable wormholes), the idea being that capsuleers can build and upgrade (or downgrade) their star gates in order to control how much of what type of traffic flows through their system. FW can achieve these upgrades using LP like they do for cyno jammers, while null sec folks build/purchase the appropriate upgrades for the gates. Some upgrades lead to the model changing, so you can upgrade your small star gate to a medium or large, or downgrade the large stargate to a small. Some folks may want the strategic advantage of limiting star gates into their industrial complexes to only allow a few frigates per hour.

It was more a plea to get rid of the lag or necessary queueing of calls that is involved when more than three people use a gate or a bridge at the same time. Obviously that's never going to happen unless we buy Premium Membership for $49.99 like in Battlefield 3 and 4.

But please give us the ability to lock down the enemy and heal our cynos first.

Yes, because it totally makes sense to expose to danger the fragile and essential ships first, instead of the tanky and disposable DPS ships.
