To know the true path, but yet, to never follow it. ¶ That is possibly the gravest sin.
Book of Missions, 13:21

By his light, and his will, it is my wish to make known to our holders and loyalist capsuleers the reality of our traditional and everlasting principles. By doing this I am serving the public good so that the realm, the community of the faithful, and the government body will benefit from the attempt of our rulers to rectify the order of things. For those who live righteously and in fear of God, who will be saved and become God’s chosen (cf. The Scriptures, Book II, 2:1).

Today there is a mania to apply common interstellar practices to the Empire. But does applying these practices guarantee achieving power and strength? Don’t be fooled! Liberals are merely imitating things and translation CONCORD laws and putting them together. The ordinances of the divine law are no longer observed, and are even regarded as a hindrance to the running of the state. The responsibility for all this falls on a decadent class of liberal bureaucrats, reformers, and capsuleers, which has usurped power and now controls the Empire’s decision making. The reforms on the other hand have allowed this class to increase tremendously in both number and power. Certain edicts have even encouraged them to challenge the legitimacy of the Reclaiming, and releasing the unenlightened en masse! But be reminded, the Lord bestowed specific purpose to everything, The Empire was founded to cultivate the spirit of man (Book I, 1:14). So do not forget:

The Wrath of God is Immense. His Justice is Swift and Decisive. His Tolerance is Limited. ¶ Be Careful. Pure Thought is the Instigator of Sin. ¶ Be Watchful. Free Thought is the Begetter of Disorder. ¶ Be Respectful. Uniform Thought is the Way of Life. — Book I, The Code of Demeanor

It all started with the Battle of Vak'atioth. Some people maintain it was hubris that paved the way to defeat and loss. But is the loss of 200 ships against the moral decline that followed? What is a lost battle compared to the loss of initiative? What did our men and women die for? And if it was hubris in the first place, it was misplaced humility that followed. Its shadows continue to haunt us today. We have replaced the firm and holy Spirit of the Reclaiming with a morbid Spirit of Vak’Atioth. We couldn’t treat the fallen worse. Myriads of worlds want to become conquered, billions of people await to be saved—still we prefer to quarrel about minor things and some now even doubt the everlasting principles! Why have we left our sanctified path to glory? Why have we abandoned the blessed way of the Reclaiming? Those who understand that it is better to die a thousand times, understand the True Spirit of Vak’Atioth!

Our lack of pride divides us. Amarrian capsuleers have formed numerous corporations and alliances today. Yet earlier a few sufficed. They faced the enemy “as a solid wall” (Amarr Askura 10:3). Now each alliance has its own agenda. The political, moral, and spiritual cost of maintaining this inflated organisational setting is enormous. The new class of capsuleers is extravagant and corrupt. Instead of uniting with their brethren, they seek equality with inferior races. All in the name of “progress” and “equality.” But it was justice, not equality, that kept the non-Amarr in the Empire satisfied; the kind and just treatment the emperors had shown them in early times (Book I, The Code of Demeanor), encouraged them to serve the Empire well and to even sacrifice their lives for it. This treatment led many zealously to adopt our most holy faith, “and the people were content and joyous” (Epitoth 1:9). Thus it was justice, not equality, that mattered; justice and equity were duties upon rulers and governments. His Holiness Amash-Akura, the founder of the exalted Empire, succeeded in establishing a large state and in increasing Amarr power by justice. As justice was at the foundation of the Empire, so it was the abandoning of justice, and the oppression and highhandedness of the government that led to the disorder of later years, to the weakness and decline of the state’s power, and to the undermining of its independence.

The eternal truth of the Reclaiming is expressed in the words of the Lord:

I give to you the destiny of Faith, ¶ And you will bring its message to every planet of every star in the heavens: ¶ Go forth, conquer in my Name, and reclaim that which I have given. — Book of Reclaiming 22:13

The Lord also warns us:

But those who turn away from his light, ¶ And reject his true word ¶ Shall be struck down by his wrath — Book of Reclaiming 4:45

Yet there are those pretenders, even in the highest positions, who pride themselves in being Amarrians, yet ignore the tenets of our most holy religion. They can be compared to a pottery factory in which there is plenty of clay, but no pots. The clay can become pots, but the form is lacking to the clay by which they can be true pots. In this case the Empire and its hierarchy would be a vast amount of clay, that is, the matter of the hierarchy, but without the form, that is, the authority by which they would be the true hierarchy of the Empire. Imagine a cadaver, which looks like a live person to a certain extent, but which remains dead. The Empire hierarchy could be compared to a cadaver of the true Empire hierarchy. In this “times of falsehood,” as Yonis Ardishapur said, the faithful will find solace in the words of the Lord:

The Lord punished the sinners and drowned them in their own blood.¶ But the people of Amarr lived righteously and in fear of God.¶ Thus they were saved and became God’s chosen. — The Scriptures, Book II 2:1

What was good in the past is still good today! The well-being of Amarr depends on the well-being of the Empire! But the well-being of the Empire depends on an all-powerful body that reigns in accordance with divine law and tradition. It has always been and will always be the obligation of the Emperor to obey God’s commands. Likewise it is the obligation of each Amarrian to obey His commands and to show religious and communal zeal, because He Who has chosen to exalt and adorn the sacred seat of Athra is the origin of all that is good and just, and the foundation of the community, and its realms. Submission to His orders is the first requirement for the survival of the power of the Empire, and of Amarr! We shall fight again until the sky turns red and the people will be happy again that God is content with them and the new emperor (Epitoth 1:23)!

So one year after my retirement I repeat my oath and swear by the words of thou, oh gleamed, sweet gift-bestowing Prophet, honoured and venerable Kuria:

I will not hesitate when the test of Faith finds me, for only the strongest conviction will open the gates of paradise. ¶ My Faith in you is absolute; my sword is Yours, My God, and Your will guides me now and for all eternity. — The Scriptures, Prophet Kuria, Paladin’s Creed.

So shall Amarr rule the worlds of the heavens!

That was a hell of a lot of words to say "waaaaaaa! It's no longer realistic or desireable for the Empire to conquer and bully everything it comes into contact with, and this makes me very upset!"

Andreus Ixiris > A Civire without a chin is barely a Civire at all.

Pieter Tuulinen > He'd be Civirely disadvantaged, Andreus.

And what is your comment then? A concise way of proving that you did not understand what I have written?

It's truly amazing how the Amarr military can call a battle where they had a 0.005 Kill/Death ratio as a reason to keep trying to conquer people.

By that logic Heth should of declared the loss of Caldari Prime a victory.

They're not trying to fight CONCORD, so you could say they've grown at least a little intelligence since. Ugh

He didn't, but I did. I'll take 55% access to the homeworld, protected by a mutually acceptable treaty, over 100% access to the Homeworld, balanced on a precarious house of cards waiting for the breeze to change.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Hmm you have a point, bad example.

Alright, a better example would be a U-Nat declaring that the Gallente won the Gallente-Caldari war.

This is a lot of moralizing coming from the woman who starred in an... "adult" holoreel, lied about it and attempted to cover it up.

Clean your own house before criticizing others for their supposed poor housekeeping, slaver.

By the way, the real lesson to be learned from Vak'Atioth was not to go attacking your neighbors.

Or perhaps it actually was a smear campaign against her? I've seen the 'evidence', and I can safely say that isn't Lady d'Hanguest in the videos. Merely a lookalike.

A smear campaign? For what purpose? If it was all just a fabrication then why did her own family disown and publicly chastise her?

Also, I seem to recall that she later admitted that it was indeed her in the reels.

Not... attacking your neighbors?
Is this tribal really speaking about that?
Those, who attacked like all of their neighbors already, both Empire and Federation?

Fortunately, the State doesn't have common border with these tribals... and maybe they are even more lucky than us, because otherwise they would be dead already.

I hope Her Majesty will finally agree to reclaim this little slave rebellion, called themselves Republic, so finally peoples like Rella wouldn't be allowed to speak without her owner's permission.

Actually, I'd say the lesson was closer to "don't fight a battle an enemy upon whom you have not done the proper research."

Not that the Empire would have learnt either of these lessons, mind you.

For what purpose? Politics and money, I suppose.

If she admitted to it, I'm not going to argue, but I'm also not going to just assume it's the real deal until that point. I've seen and heard of enough holoreels supposedly starring just about everybody in this IGS and more. Yes, I've even heard of and prosecuted a few that supposedly starred myself. Thankfully none of them were flesh reels, just a romance novel and some horror holo. Capsuleer lookalikes are a big business, and more often than not are completely illegitimate.

Flesh reels are a subset of that business. You may be surprised to learn a few of your compatriots supposedly star in them. I would doubt they actually do, but that doesn't stop unscrupulous producers from casting and marketing lookalikes. Ask your friend, ████████████. She's well aware of how offensive celebrity status can be.

We're a bunch of immortal mass murderers; are we really going to chastise a woman for being in an adult holoreel? Given all the horrible things capsuleers do on a regular basis without a thought, an adult holoreel is pretty innocent.

Lets get back on the subject of Vak'Atioth. This childish pointing and giggling from a distance was over quite some time ago.
