Which features should be added to Rubicon, and what is still to be announced?

I'll start:

SOE Battleship
Ability to update skill queue via a web browser (concern that this would be used as a play-style rather than emergency updater from a phone etc.)
High resolution texture option
New station designs (V3 of stations)
New effect when ships warp off grid

(and which do we expect to be announced soon? - I've underlined the ones that I expect to be announced soon)

...updates below:
Command ship model swap
Drone Loot
Nothing- already enough features announced
Ship recolouring
Corporation / Alliance logo on ships
Modify Sov system to respond to player activity
More AOE modules to spread players on grid
POS manufacturing of POS structures
Modular POS
General update of Sov
WIS update / new avatar content
"An expansion", not enough content announced to justify an expansion
System wide lighting effects
New muzzle effects
Corp/Alliance/Player channel access out of game
WIS content extending out of station e.g. exploration of Sleeper relics
Update LP stores
Overhaul of PVE content attached to standings/include medals or other reward
Improved drone UI incorporated into the HUD
Exploration site improvements
Anchorable mines
Ability to change slot layout of ship by using a converter module

The SOE battleship is coming, they just didn't have enough art assets ready to show it off to us yet.

I would be very excited to see skill queue updated through EVE Gate or third party via CREST. There was some discussion about this a while back, I am not following the CREST development but I think it boiled down to "we can, but should we."

For me it's a no-brainer: I've been stuck without decent Internet access for a while, so I can get to the forums but I'm barely able to log into the game (the launcher will give up and tell me I'm in "offline mode" because my connection is so laggy). No access to launch the client means I've had characters with no skills in queue for days at a time. Then you consider the folks who are working on oil rigs, surveying the desert, deployed in military operations to places where they have no Internet access, etc.

So for me the question isn't "should we" it's "why the heck haven't you?" :)

I'd be happy for CCP to use a temporary art asset like a retextured Hyperion for the SOE ship. On that note I would also expect command ship models to be swapped around soon, some updated to new T2 models.

I'm still waiting for SOE agents to give me delivery missions involving the massive quantities of white paint that will be required for these ships :)

CCP gets paid no matter what if you're training skills, so why not make it less of a hassle?

CCP mostly sucks at their job, but Veritas is a pretty cool dude.

I think the opposite : they do it hard to manage your skill queue on purpose. Until there is enough anger to force them to make it more practical. Remember that before there was not even a skill queue.
Why ? because as much time you lose to train the skills you need to do what you want, as longer you are guaranteed to stay.
I know that there is enough skills in eve to keep us training for our whole life, but not every players are interested in every aspects of the game.

Nothing more.

I'd be really happy to see a rock-solid release of announced changes - then see about more vs a handful of other things that won't be tested decently. The announced release date is not that far in the future.

because if you log in, you create content that makes other players subscribe/log in.

you letting yourself get talked into joining some fleet when you just wanted to change skills is the content/product CCP is selling to the rest of us.

Ship recolouring and alliance/corporation logos on ship.

Yup, the announced changes are already expansion-worthy: deployable utility structures, new faction ships, marauder and interceptor rebalancing, hisec POCOs, redesigned certificate system.

I hope they don't take away my Hull Tanking (Elite) certificate!

Well CCP did get to one of my pet peeve's with the warp acceleration/deceleration change.

There are only two major items in my personal list that CCP still haven't added to the game, but eventually (inevitably) will.

1. Sov system based on player activity in a system over a week's time span while contested. This negates annoying timers and boring structure grinding aside from stations (separate from sov system). Also, inactive systems can be taken with ease. No waiting on a preset number of days to upgrade your system. You can upgrade it as soon as it's your's.

2. More remote AOE modules to rid of us of dumb blob balls. I mean really, spread out people and perhaps get in "formation".

How would you make this work with alliances that prefer the NRDS style of play?

Or would you just cut out that style of play? effectively throwing out a whole bunch of sand out of the sandbox.

How about;

Modular POSes,
Sov update,
Corp Logos on Ships,
Avatar (WiS) Content.

If you ask me what I would like from Rubicon, then I might answer "An expansion, this time".

After more research I believe we were meant to be getting new system wide lighting effects and new muzzle effects.

Having corp, alliance & player-created chat channels available out-of-game would be a far more powerful "suck you into the game" mechanic. People already communicate with their mates through Jabber and IRC, so why not simply extend the game to cover XMPP and/or IRC communications?

Meaningful WiS .. from common areas in stations to exploring unknown/sleeper stations for new tech
This is my signature. There are many others like it, but this one is mine.  Without me, my signature is useless. Without my signature, I am useless

Corp and Alliance logos on ships would be cool. I would like to see recolored ships too, or custom 'skins', but the problem with that is that the way skins and colors work now is that they define the ship. You know that a green vexor is a navy issue, you know that a black vexor is an Ishtar, ... A lot of that would disapper.

Drone loot.

Some of the LP stores could use a bit of reworking.

More walking in stations would be nice, but this is lower on my list.

I would also like to see a bit more PvE content with regards to standings and so. We have a bit of a medal system at the moment when doing FW, but grinding up to 9+ standing should reward some sort of medal or so from that faction.

While changing skills from a website would be cool, I can't really support this. Play the game, if you wish to change skills.
