First, CCP destroys my ability to make a living doing hisec explor for profit by flooding the market and making it worthless. Fine, I move on to mining and PI.

Now CCP is going to let griefers overtax the alredy highly taxed PI in hisec. Gee, thanks, but no thanks. Don't have time for it anymore.

WTF CCP? War on teh carebears? Do you people even think about the consequences on players?

Don't cry about being over taxed.

Do the right thing and become one of those 'griefers'. Then you can laugh at all the people who are like you are now.

First they made the tier BC's for better ganking miners
I said nothing cause I didn't mine.

Then they changed exploration and pushed more of it to lowsec
I said nothing cause I could move on

They are taking away our poco's and I can't say anything cause I refuse to fight for my income.

I hear level IV missions still pay out well.

Despite my posting prowess I really am terrible at this game

Competition between your future landlords should lead to acceptable taxes. If people 'overtax' their clients, they will move on to greener pastures or cease doing PI until prices for planetary goods rise enough to make it worthwhile again.

Griefing will get you banned by the GMs and quite rightly, too. I think what you mean to say is "CCP are going to provide a new opportunity for players to do new stuff".

Repost from other thread:

Honestly, owning a poco really isn't lucrative. There are many hundreds of planets within a 10 jump radius of jita or any other market hub. No one isn't going to bother controlling them all, it just isn't worth the time.

A single player will make more from running a 7/10 or doing a few hacking/archaeology sites than two weeks worth of revenue from a poco. A lot more.

And that assume Lowsec/Nullsec/Wormholes where the yields are actually good. Really, I wouldn't worry about this.

Naw, I'm aware of the differences. Its a question of time. Don't have the time for low/wh/null or pvp. I've seen the PI strangulation that goes on with capturable customs. No thanks. I just don't see the point of CCP doing stuff like this. How does it make the game better? It certainly makes it worse for a casual who only has a couple hours each week.

It makes the game better by offering new gameplay options and more opportunities to interact in the sandbox.

If you dislike the taxes given, take the POCO back. If you can't, hire someone to do it for you. If interacting with others is too distasteful for you, I recommend a single player game like the "X" series.

You do know that you can get a bunch of guys together, form a corp and wardec the offending corp that droped the offensive POCO, kill it and raise your own instead, but that would require effort and cost ISKies. You know what why don't you just whine on the forums or something, that would take less effort than you seem to be willing to put out about this.

Carebears are parasitic. They only want to take without giving back. "No Effort!" is their motto.

"Oooh some mean person with ambition will take the Customs Offices and make me pay." God forbid you get some friends (have any?) and take over a customs office yourself.

Look at this as an opportunity. Because it is.

And that is exactly the problem. They never look at something like this and think, 'Maybe we should get some POCOs and set ourselves a 0% tax rate.' They instead look for someone else to victimize them.
