there is a biomass option , use it.

Why don't you kiss my ass? How's that for an option?

I like your corp name, weren't you a guy that got awox'd in a machariel that wasn't fully fit?

What i don't love though, is still a lack of POS fixes....... Sad

Maybe these new personal structures will make the difference though, who knows!

To me these structures look like the foundation for game mechanics that will eventually replace our current POS mechanics, and although it was brief this was alluded to indirectly in the video.

No need for a celestial object to be present, no restrictions on how many you can group together... sounds like the foundation for modular POS's and POS towns/cities.

"I'd like to anchor my personal "Depot" next to yours, or attach it to yours (share the same anchor point)."
"I'd like a weapons system that I can attach to it now."
"Hey, could we have a communal or corp hanger that we can attach too?"
"How about both so that informal groups can get together and use it, or alliances for that matter?"
Hey, I'd like to hook a lab to this thing."

Yep, this is actually a pretty good step in the right direction.

These things look to be more mobile than a POS, which is great, but if the mechanics are in place there is no reason to not apply them to more permanent installations.

It is an excellent choice of name, pretty obviously chosen because of the 'crossing the Rubicon' being a reference to the Capsuleers beginning to take over Empire space - An action that we can't take back once we start to do it.

Don't know what you guys expect an expansion title to be, but this seems a good description of the content within it and the way it will affect the game and its story.

If you crossed the Rubicon under arms then you were a rebel and/or enemy of the Republic depending on where you came from. Fight or be crucified.

Not sure what crossing the Rubicon means to CCP these days. Not this I suspect. Not sure it deserves the title of an expansion really, more maintenance with some shinys to dazzle you all.

It's worth noting that the significance of crossing the rubicon and "the die is cast" isn't that Caesar went on to win. It was that it was a total gamble, an incredible risk. It only gets its victorius overtones in hindsight. At the time he said the words, what he was really saying is "we're as good as dead but there's no going back."

I like it, "The point of no return"...so, with high sec POCOs and the lack of concord response to them, they have set on the path of seperating capsuleers from the Empires, and it is not something you can put back in the box once it is out.

If you were listening to the Twitch stream. It's like crossing the line between the major empires controlling power and capsuleers controlling power.

Do they not sell dictionaries or something anymore in the countries where you guys live? It just means a point of no return. While the river may have something to do with the contemporary meaning of the word, CCP did not name this expansion after a river. :P

The equivalent of that in Japan is to say "leap off of Kiyomizu Temple." Just a little trivia for the trivia-oriented types.

Seriously, a 5-second google search returned the following.

Rubicon - A limit that when passed or exceeded permits of no return and typically results in irrevocable commitment.

Along with the Julius Caesar implications I think its a great expansion name.

Post with your main, like a BOSS!

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.
