Corporation's standing and agent access question

Does my corporation's standing have any affect on agent access. I thought once ago it did but I know for sure it does not. If not, then what role does the corporation's standing have in the game aside from faction standing to anchor high sec pos?

Pretty sure you are correct, ie corp standings wouldnt allow a new player access to a lvl 4 agent without the grind and is only useful for getting a POS in high sec.

Yes, Corporation standing affects access to agents.

When using Corporation standing to access agents, the Faction must be maintained above -2.00 standing. Faction standing will over ride Corporation standing as long as the Corporation is maintained above -2.00 standing. Agents and Corporations look at your personal standings modified by Social skills.

Level 1 - Always Available
Level 2 = +1.00 Standing
Level 3 = +3.00 Standing
Level 4 = +5.00 Standing
Level 5 = +7.00 Standing

Having high Corporation standing will allow Tax Free reprocessing (+6.67 modified) and Jump Clones (+8.00 modified).

To anchor a POS in high security systems (+0.5 to +0.7 sec level), the player made corporation needs to have unmodified Faction standing just above the system security level. For a +0.5 system, the player corporation needs to have at least +5.01 standing with the Faction.
