The SoE concept ships rock! Now we just need a purely drone-based SoE battleship.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

not pure drone boats... but armor drone and laser/ missile/ projectile/ hybrid with cloak and probes yes very much so. I live in wh space and can see many uses for the frig and cruiser.... well if they turn out to be any good. no numbers yet.

a bs like that would be great fun

Laser could be an interesting twist, for certain. I'd love to finally see a Covert Ops battleship, but I think that's probably too over the top for a faction one.

yeah, a covert ops faction BS would be a bit extreme, especially considering that Blops don't have the ability to use one.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

in the pictures the cruiser had lasers... i think.... so if they ever did do a battleship it would make sense to use lasers, especially with amarr bonuses.

frig didn't have anything on it so who knows. it was just concept pictures

Maybe we'll get a SoE and new Black Ops in the next release. Nice that the Winter expansion is being released early.

They need to hurry up and put everything in writing. easier to reference and it sucks having to go to twitch for anything.

I am thinking the same thing. Armor Resistance and Drones will be the ship bonuses. Leaving the highs with hardpoints for turrets or launchers would be great. Allows for a wide array of fitting/engagment profile.

They have the Twitch TV episode loaded at: CCP Twitch.

It's about 2/3 into the show. Pictures of the frigate and cruiser and a discussion about basic abilities: covert ops, armor resist, drone ships.

Edit: Oh, I am not a big fan of large ships. Anything over cruiser makes me feel like I'm slow boating. But I am for a BS for SOE. PirateLol
