So when can we expect a post of these proposed changes? You know for those who couldn't stream the session. Some posts coming of whats good bad.. but nothing as far as an overview of what was mentioned...

Marauder rebalance, see the exising thread.

Interceptors gain bubble immunity and get a general balance pass.

Interdictor balance pass. (not HICs, just the normal dictors)

Personal CHA/fiiting service thing you can anchor in space.

One time use deployable short range cyno jammer.

Deployable auto tractor beam structure to make looting and salvaging easier.

A deployable thing that lets you steal moon goo from POSs but anyone can take stuff from it.

Customs offices in hisec are going to be player owned/controlled and can be attacked without concord intervention.

Edit: Super sexy looking SoE faction ships. Amarr and Galente based with cov ops cloaks, armor tanks, scanning bonuses, and lots of drones.

Oh yeah, "rapid heavy missile launcher" for battleships.

From what I can remember:

New Rapid Heavy Missile Launcher

Some new SOE Faction ships that can covert cloak and have large Drone bays - mix of Amarr & Gallente and with exploration bonuses to hacking and so forth

New Character Login Screen

New Cert System

Self-deploying structures: One for salavaging and lotting wrecks, one for jamming non-Covert Cyno, one for stealing stuff from POS and one for allowing mobile ship fitting and storaging stuff. All are attackable and won't initiate a Concord response

Showed the new Marauder graphics for Bastion mode on a Kronos (all Marauders have unique appearance changes in BM)

Interceptors and Interdictors will ignore bubble

Ship warp speed will now affect the rate at which ships accelerate and decelerate into/out of warp

Something about players being able to run Customs Offices in High Sec (don't really give a toss about that so took no notice)

Some undefined stuff at the start about colonisation

Some more ship changes but no details about which ships or what changes - detail to follow

Expansion out on 19 Nov

That's all from memory - did I missing anything?

You mean that we can land our ships on temperate planets? That'll be cool if we can!

No. I mean 'undefined', as in no detail P

couldnt watch, damn :(

so would new launcher be bs module or what?

and can someone explain this about warp speed, if it is even explained by devs on tv?

I thought I had explained it really well? Basically if your ship has a faster warp speed than another ship (say Interceptor compared to an RNI), then the RNI can enter warp first, but the Int will overtake in Warp and get there before them. So if someone tries to warp away and bounce off a planet then you can get there before them if you can see where they went, and get there before them ready to scram or whatever.

So in other words ships with a lower FTL top speed will have a steeper FTL acceleration curve?

This actually makes sense, as in real-space physics and relativity sense. The amount of energy require to increase a ship's speed in warp supposedly increases exponentially as it accelerates to a higher and higher FTL factor. So accelerating from 1.0 to 2.0 AU/s would take several magnitudes of energy more than say, accelerating from e to 1.0 AU/s (e of course refers to the speed of light in a vacuum).

This of course assumes that the output from a ships warp drive is constant. This still works, however, since larger ships such as capitals, battleships, and heavy industrials tend to have lower warp speeds than frigates, cruisers, and light haulers. It's logical to assume a larger ship would have a more powerful warp drive, and the constant output rate of the warp drive would accelerate the ship faster... but the higher mass would result in a lower maximum warp speed.

They have a recording up on their twitch stream. It's untitled but simply look for the one added today.

If you watched the stream you should know they should open threads on those topics within next week or something like that.
