Some low hanging industrial fruit!

I was really hoping for some changes to industry to be included with the next expansion.

Even if it was just some UI improvements for blueprint, manufacturing and research management, that would have rocked. It's seriously a tedious click fest as is.

Also, a better mechanic to prevent generating free minerals when ships are rebalanced, other than "extra materials", which really screws with insurance and the value of doing ME research on BPOs. It also makes it annoying to figure out what you need to buy without using an out of game tool.

Why not just simply change it to "materials you won't get back if you reprocess this item"? You could use that on POS structures to, so that ME could once again have an impact on their production costs.

I know that you're hinting strongly at a big industrial presence in future expansions, with stargate construction, etc, but why not slip some of these low hanging industrial fruit changes into this expansion?
