Cyno Jammer Question and Feedback

First, I have a question. If someone deploys one of these near a jump bridge, will that block jumping into that system? I could see this as a tool to use when roaming or invading someone else's space.

Second, ever since you moved so many mining and combat exploration sites to be anomalies that don't need to be probed down first, solo/small groups of players doing these sites don't really have any counters for black ops hotdroppers, other than simply docking up as soon as someone comes into local, or keeping a sizeable combat fleet on standby in system at all times just in case.

One player in a cloaked ship is perfectly fine, as you could just modify your fit to give yourself a fighting chance, but when that player can sit there for many hours while afk, then come back to their computer, sneak right on top of you, tackle you and then instantly summon a bunch of friends, in practice, that just means almost no one takes any risk at all, so you end up with a bunch of people sitting around waiting.

That's not a lot of fun.

There was quite a bit of excitement when idea of a deployable cyno jammer was leaked the other day, as this would require these cloaky hotdroppers to bring in their friends off grid or at a distance from the jammed area, which would increase the odds of there being a balanced fight, rather than a one-sided spanking.

So, while you may be fixing one aspect of unbalanced hot dropping mechanics, you're leaving the other exactly the same as it is today. The AFK cloaker/hot dropper is an annoying aspect of the game with no practical counter.

This new jammer could have a positive impact on that situation, even if you did something like made it take longer to create the black ops cyno while inside it's area of effect, or caused it to limit the amount of mass that could be jumped through, raised the cost of fuel for said jump, made it so the cyno ship would lose all target locks while activating the cyno, etc.

Anything to help balance the way things are now.

Thank you for your consideration.
