I was hoping somebody (or a DEV) could give me some technical info on the ship viewer that is implemented on the main website, out of curiosity. I don't know a whole lot about website development, but I am assuming it is JavaScript and WebGL?

Short answer: Head over to the Tech Forum and get up to speed about the ccpwgl library.
Long answer: when I have better net access (and still necessary) :)

Well, they oughta know what to do with them hogs out there for shure.

If you dont know about web programming, then you shouldn't really bother..

Good news is - you still can try at least examples.

1. Download ccpwgl package: https://github.com/ccpgames/ccpwgl
2. Download any webserver of your choice. If you just want to try things, use http://smallsrv.com/ Install it and run.
3. Unpack ccpwgl zip package into www directory of web server.
4. Open browser and type http://localhost/demos/ex1.html
5. If you see Abaddon - you succeeded. Now try other examples or you can start modifying code, playing with ships/effects/shaders etc.
