Hello peoples,

I'm stuck (again) at the "Lost that Bet" Mission. Mission is as follows:

Quote:
Mission briefing
He's hidden another one of those blasted dolls at another location. But it's not just anywhere, oh no, he's hidden it this time. It's in the middle of an asteroid field. You'll have to mine through those rocks until the canister pops out.

This mission expires at 2013.10.03 03:45

Lost That Bet (4 of 5) Objectives
The following objectives must be completed to finish the mission:

Bring Item Objective
Acquire these goods:
Drop-off Location 0,5 Irjunen V - CBD Sell Division Retail Center
Item 1 x Dolls (1,0 m³)

Problem is: I'm playing on a laptop, resolution 1280x800 resolution. Finding 25 asteroids is completely impossible.
Is there any possibility how i can scan them or something?

You can go into your overview settings and setting it to show asteroids. That way you will know instantly when you warp into a belt if there is any ore left.

Ok i got it... Shortcuts in the options, then assign a letter to "Overview Settings" and then you can edit the overview settings.... Sorry but how complicated can you make a game?

If you are docked you need to use a shortcut to open the settings, but if your undocked you can click on what looks like 4 small lines as shown here (thanks to EVE uni for the screenshot! Big smile ) to open your overview settings and change what you need/want.

Also note that you can also add/remove stuff from your overview by right clicking on the object.

Better yet, right-click on your Default overview tab and select "New Tab". Name it "Mining", make it active, then open the menu and select "Load default - mining".

I also recommend making one for "Loot" and one for "All".

Also be aware that each of the asteroids only holds one unit of veldspar, so don't waste a whole cycle of your lasers on each one. just a second or two will be sufficient to pop each asteroid.

When undocked, right click the 3 bars top-left corner of the overview, select overview settings.

Seems overwhelming at first but you will see it's usefulness eventually.

Here man, take a peek at thisBig smile

In fact check out the whole sticky thread for new pilots. There's some really good stuff.

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."
