This question is usually asked, and has been in the past, but who are the current corps and alliances in the fight. Looked at old mails, but a lot appears to have changed. What's the current lay of the landscape?

Gallente caused crises of confidence in an already splintered Caldari coalition through determined defenses of major staging systems, followed by a broad slash in warzone control. Kills are down roughly by half across Black Rise and Placid (for lack of targets).

The pursuit of excellence and stabbed plexing alts.

Caldari did a huge push. Gallente systems down to 10.
Inter-faction warfare on Caldari side. Gallente push back.
Large alliance/s (BORG + others) leave Cal Mil when going gets tough. Gallente start dominating. Caldari at 5-8 systems.
FW balances itself out. Caldari coming back slowly. CalMil fleets still impossible to find.

Respect to Victor Hark's Prism-based corp, Black Talon. They are the only Caldari organization capable of shipping into something that isn't a destroyer and not run. They will roam in 30 man gang of cruisers, BCs and logi. They'll even bash ihubs with Battleships and fight till last man standing.

A few weeks ago we had a small armor cruiser gang jump into their 30 man blob of kitchen sink cruisers, frigs and BCs. We barely won the fight with 4 cruisers left holding the field. Thinking we would be left alone to loot the field, they reshiped within minutes. Something I'm not used to. The Gallente fleet had to start running from Caldari...something that I'm also not used to. lol

CalMil

Templis Dragonaors
Black Talon Assault Force
Old Man Gang
Atonement

GalMil

Justified Chaos
Quantum Cats Syndicate
Villore Accords
Monkeys with Guns

I've certainly left out a few organizations (sorry!), but from my perspective those are the big ones at the moment. Caldari are all packed into either Innia or Asakai, and the Gallente own everything, but seem to mostly be holed up in Eha, Nisuwa and Nennamalia, although they own to many systems to get a decent sense of who is basing out of where.

* Edit: Gallente also have Sicarius Draconis, who are dope and I somehow forgot about them >.>

U forgot to add the innovia alliance to the cal mil list my friend,surprised u did so since they always responded to your cryes of help everytime i would have thought u'd apreciate it more.

i am slowly but surely working myself up the leadership ladder in best korea alliance

once i achieve the level of "main fc" i will convince the alliance to join calmil

i will then deliver my khan-address-to-the-militia speech which i have been practicing in the mirror

the rabble will flock to my confidence and charisma, especially diana kim who is destined to be my sweetheart princess

i will then draw upon all the carebears in black rise to bring their ravens and drakes and bash some ihubs

once i feed galmil several of those fleets i will emphasize the importance of "capturing systems" over "isk efficiency"

this will buy me a few more weeks of militia loyalty which i will use to run talwar fleets with myself as the anchor

deen and xgal will beg me not to flip vlil because they havnt had time to black frog all their attrition cats and derptons out yet

i will oblige for a fee of 50 bil (roughly 20% of the value of derptrons stored in roden 7 shipyards)

silly galmil mistakes my art of war for benevolence

i intentionally leave them vlil and set up 24/7 instalock gatecamps on all the out-gates.

CCP added most usable mindlinks on gallente and minmatar FW lp shops so everyone grinded lp for those causing that those got almost all systems.

FW systems change owner mostly because of farmers so pvp may only prevent farmers to farm certain systems but no one is really trying to play sov warfare in FW.
