The title says it all really. Try and picture the Eve Universe with a bus line map that runs, driven by players. This could be issued as a contract, or even just jump in and out with a fee on entry. But ofc I'm just talking about pods. How else would we be capable of making bus-lines. You don't see many people moving their entire livelihood in a bus.
And ofc there is low sec and null sec too if any corp would interested in running such a career.

Than again... The risk. it's risky ofc. But isn't what this game is all about.

A little chat as the idea was born:

Player 1 > kk
Me > unless you could give me a ride to Jita:Þ lol
Player 1 > I wish, taxi service would be nice
Me > That would be ossum:Þ But rly, entrusting your pod to a taxi corp...... sound like suicide to meh:Þ
Player 1 > contracts?
Me > you know what. I'm'a add this to the forums as an idea. Risk is part of the game. It would be so ossum seeing corps making bus routes across the high sec areas:Þ
Player 1 > yeah
Player 1 > similar to jump clone mechanics on vessels
Me > well, I was more like thinking off it as a player driven carrer. Than you could log off and your pod will still be in the cargo. You could also watch (and learn). Would be ossum looking outside the window seeing a huge war outside the bus:Þ
Player 1 > bingo
Me > huh? you won something?
Player 1 > no, good idea is all
Me > ossum. I'm'a send it after I finish up the PI. I need to go to the forums anywaysxD

Why would you stay logged if you had no control over what is happening with you?

Also: alts/jumpclones.

Or contracts and such. I don't see why one would necessarily need an actual "taxi" in game. And buddies, need a price checked, ask a friend. I keep a price checker/seller in Jita for this purpose. He can check prices and sell stuff anonymously. And yeah, I've logged him when others need a Jita price check.

Thanks, I'll drive.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

There is a bus-system.

It's called Autopilot. Just add your jumps, press autopilot, and go do something else. And yes, this should be done in expensive ships, preferably a freighter with 10+ Billions in cargo-value
