I do not know how the russian client is but if players move away from it means that something is wrong.

i'd be pissed off too, if I had to deal with that on a daily basis

I know the running joke/stereotype is "those crazy Russians" ... but come on CCP crazy does not mean stupid.

Not exactly when the game client started translating, I switched and played all the time in Russian, because I find it easier to read annotations in their native language me. In English I moved out of necessity, because just can't seem to see such a quality translation, and all because someone just tried to jump out of his pants, like the best, but it turned out as always. simple with translation sorted out.

Не совсем так, когда клиент игры стали переводить, я перешел на него и играл все время на русском, так как мне проще читать аннотации на родном мне языке. На английский я перешел вынужденно, потому что просто не могу перед глазами видеть такого качества перевод, а все потому, что кто то просто попытался выпрыгнуть из штанов, хотели как лучше, а получилось как всегда. по простому с переводом перебрали.

An average length of a word in English language is 5 letters. In Russian - 7. Every eng text can be translated into rus (word by word) with a 40% extra symbols at most. Current translation is too long and in some cases even confusing.

Средняя длина слова в английском языке - 5 букв. В русском - 7. Любой английский текст может быть дословно переведен в русский с максимум 40% дополнительных знаков. Текущий перевод слишком длинный и местами запутанный.

Перевод имеет право на существование. Но его надо укоротить и доработать. Я писал об этом в русской ветке форума.

Translation has a right to exist. But it needs to be shortened and modified. I wrote about this in Russian forum thread.

I like how CCP Droog, posting in a thread full of people who clearly have difficulty with English, isn't even offering a TL;DR of his posts in Russian. That's just bad manners.

While I don't speak a word of Russian and can't speak for the quality of the translations, if the native Russian speakers say it's bad, I'll believe and support them.

I do think that such a bad russian translation is some kind of hint: you've to use an english client :)
