Level 5's

Hi guys,

I've not looked into the efficiency of corp specific LP rewards that you can get in NPC missions but not FW but is there any reason to do level 5's these days? It seems like a lot of risk for no real benefit given the same areas of space have FW missions that are much faster.

Your thoughts?

Well, I've never run FW missions, but I have run many thousands of L5s.

With a group of 4 accounts, I average 10 missions for a couple hours of play.
10 minutes in the morning to decline missions that you don't want
30 minutes when I get home to get from work to get new missions and bookmark them (I have multiple alts per account so I can get 10-20 missions total. Bookmarking makes running a large group with alts much easier).
Each mission takes an average of 5 minutes to run (counting time getting to the mission).
So on an average night that works out to around 2 hours for about 1 Billion in LP + another 120 Million in Reward/Bounty.
10 minutes at the end to turn in and request new missions.

I do that a couple times a week. You do need to unload the LP at some point, but I only do that once every month or two.

Unless FW is in T4 or higher, lvl 5's is the most lucrative way of making isk.

IDK about FW missions.. But if you have a firm enough control over an area of lowsec where Lvl 5 Missions are.. You can spam up alt standings.. and make sheet loads of isk..

For example I had 4 toons that could light cynos and pull missions..

I had my main in a carrier..

Basically all the alts pull missions and decline until they get blitziable missions.. they head to those systems with cyno frigs..

You can jump from system to system blitzing missions.. most done right take less then 10 mins.. SO say 6 missions an hr roughly.. when you good ten.. that is a million lp an hr..

at an even terrible lp conversion of say 3-400 isk you get like 400 Mil an hr..

on a good return.. its insane isk.. and if you are doing it right you can bang a mission out in like 6-7 minutes.. and jumping around makes it that much faster.. and while you are finishing a mission an alt can burn back turn in and pull another so you can keep the train rolling for a while..

It just takes control of the area..

Then like a pro you haul like 70 bil in ballistic controls to jita in a bantam...

NO ONE EVER EXPECTS THE BANTAM

Market will always out perform any combat related isk making if the bank roll is large enough.

Ofcourse, but taking that out of the equation makes my point still valid.

Guys thanks for the info, I can run 3 accounts and have a char on each account that should get me able to do this. I'll see if I can find someone I know that will run me through a few to get a little feeling for it :D
