Getting iOS7.

I am on New York time. Got iTunes 11.0.5, tried to download it. No go.

Now downloading iTunes 11.1.

Anybody got iOS7 through iTunes yet?

No I got a error, it says ID 10-T. Need to call up tech support and ask them why I got this.

Update.

Downloaded iTunes 11.1.0. Installed. It sees the iPad2, but the buttons for Update and Restore did not show up. Unplugged the iPad2. Plugged it back in. The popup for download and install iOS7 came up. Downloading now. It is 1.05 GB.

Update.

Start download. After getting maybe 150-200 MB I get an error 9006.

Back when I had a retail job just after high school, we had a customer come in that was... difficult. I called over the store intercom "Manager to the front counter. Code ID 10-T". That was a very enjoyable moment at that job.

Ouch. Mine is 4 hours download. But I had to restart a couple of times so figure 5 hours. So far two hours left.

It finally finished.

I like IOS7 so far. Siri seems to do a lot more. AirDrop seems like it will be useful. Yay for animated wallpapers and parallax backgrounds (though the parallax effect isn't quite as good as on my Galaxy S4 background).

The upgrade went really smooth. I usually lose everything when I update IOS. Not this time.

Keep in mind that if you're working at Wal-mart your standards are already pretty low.
