Selected Item Box Minimizing

I'm not sure how to stop this happening, or if it's possible at all, I've asked people before and had no luck.

When you double click the selected item box it minimizes, so if you go to hit approach or orbit and misclick, you lose your piloting tools.

Can you disable minimize? If so, how?? It's the most annoying 'feature' and has been around since being able to move the overview around.

Can't disable the minimizing that I know of, but you can somewhat avoid the issue by using keyboard shortcuts for the commands.

I noticed this too when I was trying to spam warp as my ship's structure was about to give out, minimizing the box and costing me those precious few seconds and my pod.
I'm not certain if it's always done this or if it's the first time I mis-cliked?

they need to add 'jump through to x system' onto jump bridges
CCP seems to be hell bent on removing the use of right click in EVE

It's done it for a few years but I lost 1 ship and 1 kill just before posting this, so was very annoyed.

I know that keyboard shortcuts exists but I use the selected item box a *lot* and as I said, it's one of the most annoying 'features' in the game.
I'm not saying that it shouldn't be possible to minimize, but set it so that you have to be on the top bar or something as having it anywhere outside the buttons is irritating to say the very least
