Holla Ladies and men,

Currently live in nul sec pew pewing. but need to get some Isk together for cap ships etc...

Basicly I'm looking for some cost effective Fits for around 400m ISK (tuff ask I know.) I can fly Amarr and Caldari Bships fit t2 tanks on both but only have skills for t2 lasers but can fit t1 large hybrids.

However, (I would need to double check but:) I am fairly sure I have skills to fly both amarr and Caldari Logistics (logi V)

What would be the best bet for getting in fleets with a ship for less than 400m. Any fits you can link would be appreciated :)

Good logi pilots are generally harder to find than BS pilots and for Incursions you'll generally want at least a Navy BS or preferably a Pirate BS which will definitely blow your budget.

So I'd recommend you go for a Logi ship, Logi V is a very good skill (assuming you have good backup skills too) and quite sought after. Get into some Incursion community as a Logi pilot and they'll help you with fittings and stuff, it depends on how they run they'd want you fit your logi a specific way. Since you can fly both Guardians and Basilisks then you can go for armor or shield, doesn't really matter, shield is more common though.

Thanks, I dont suppose any Incursion Logi Pilots could suggest a good fit and outline those supplimentry skills mentioned?

As you're caldari/amarr ie. basilisk or guardian, there are far more shield fleets in existance and you would have best chance of finding a fleet with the basi. Basic t2 fit can be done for about 200mil.

[Bare Basic t2 Basi]
4x large remote shield booster
2x large regard (whatever cap transfer is called now)

2x adaptive invul t2
1x EM ward field/amp
1x large shield extender
1x 10mn AB

Damage control
1x Reactor control ii/Power diagnostic (depending on your skills)

Medium ancillary current router ii
Medium shield extender ii

It should be noted there are many different communities who use different variations on their fitting doctrines to each other

with a number of them listed here > https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=206859
My advise; just join a number of the different channels and ask for their particular fittings, most have info regarding their fits in theirs motds

About that incursion logi-ing.
If you have poor attention span, are easily bored, like to check skype/IM, like to chat in many different channels while in fleet, browse various lol sites when bored, etc... then DON'T BE LOGI!
Logi-ing by itself is NOT hard, logi-ing for a few minutes is NOT hard, however logi-ing for a few hours on end and paying the same level of attention and reaction speed throughout IS HARD. That's why 'good' logi is hard to find, SP/ship fit alone doesn't make one into a logi.
/rant over

Anyway, for 400 mils your best bet is logi, however if you find logi-ing is not for you, I saw some sniper maelstroms get in fleets (TVP/HQ). Also armor side (TDF) (VS focused) has more relaxed standards but fleets may or may not be up during your timezone if you want to fit a armor logi/ship.
Shield side nowadays seems to have plenty of logis. DPS (vindis) are in high demand, snipers are next after dps.

If still looking, this is pretty much a straight DPS rokh for right around the top of your budget. Works with t1 rigs too.

Rokh
High power
8x Neutron Blaster Cannon II
Medium power
1x Cap Recharger II
2x Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
1x 100MN Microwarpdrive II
1x Target Painter II
1x EM Ward Amplifier II
Low power
1x Damage Control II
3x Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
1x Tracking Enhancer II
Rig Slot
2x Large Core Defense Field Extender II
1x Large Semiconductor Memory Cell II

Faction or t2 ammo as always, and drones as per the community standard.

Talking more,

Flying crazier,

And drinking more

Well, if you want reasonably cheap but effective and use your laser skills I used to run a Shield tanked NIG for Vanguards back when incursions were massive isk faucets.

Also NIGs are sexy as ****.
