Nope.

Yeah, he did kind of over look the fact that in an interactive game everyone needs to be on the same version for things to work correctly. With rare exception it's not a situation where you can "patch it when you get the time".

Given that this is the patch that finally (FINALLY!) fixed the "random freeze" bug my alt account had, I gotta say:

Complainers get out. It's too bad we don't have an emoticon for "get out" here.

I don't understand why CCP have to patch every day. If there are some really critical errors that absolutely needs patching, then it is ok with an emergency patch, but I don't believe that is the reason. At least, if it is the reason, then CCP should take a good look at their quality assurance policies instead.

Leaving out the possibility of CCP creating a critical error every day, that leaves us with minor errors. But then please, please, please collect them into a weekly update. This daily routine is getting really annoying.

The /facepalm the **** out of me really is there anything els eve community can do than whining on ever damn thing there is.

Really just stop it. This making me sick. Where are those people coming from.

Theres nothing wrong with frequent patching and updates. I'm happy that CCP actually fix their bugs without too much waiting.

Problem with the frequent patches lately, are all the different updating problems due to the crappy launcher. Too many hours are spent to get the updates working, rather than playing the game.

I have feelings, I can smile - and murder while!

These trolls... sigh. You have no idea about the systems I have, and I can assure you there's nothing old, crappy or wrong with any of them.

I was too lazy to read this entire thread, but for god's sakes. Don't complain about frequent patches.

Try some other MMO's where you literally wait A FULL YEAR just for bug fixes. (cough) LOTRO (cough) SW:TOR (cough) EQ2 (cough) Rift (cough) Aion (cough) Conan

I think you get my drift.

There's been patch installs? Seriously? Never noticed! Took the OP longer to post this whine thread than all these so called patched to be downloaded and installed... Sheeesh!

That is probably because no other company is bothering their users to update again and again and again. And the reason they don't do it is most likely because it annoys their customers.

MS Windows

As an Indie dev I resent posts like this. Actually no, I hate idiots more than posts like this and the day I get that kind of crap from a user I'll send a reimbursement his way and ban him to high hell.

"I hate to wait a minute (or two) for the patch to download and install." Seriously. Stop. You sound like a crackhead missing his shot.

Here. To ease the pain, I took 2 mins of my time to find an entertaining video for you to watch on YT. It's a funny parrot doing tricks for 2 minutes.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hib6Y6zf6uE

Suggestion for you: Watch it on a loop and never post here again. Ever. You can also stop playing the game too.

Guys guys !!

Last days of summer to get out have a drink with a nice looking, apero with friends, barbecue parties, beach or whatever the heck.

Stop complaining and get out of that smelling room you live in, get some fresh air, life is outside awaiting you to get a bit of it.

Agile development/release methodology is another way of "throwing a turd to a wall and see what sticks then clean up in a post patch patch".

Developers love it because they can use "post-it" notes and whiteboards instead of procedures and documents, but they get a 10 minute rant meeting every morning while they get their coffee.

Customers hate it because its patch hell.

If it's annoying then re-route your daily routine.

If you do everything before you start EVE, then start the launcher and then go do all the chores that you need to do.

This way, you will never be annoyed by the daily patches.

Imma go ahead and give this guy 8/10.

Seriously, 5 pages of replies to what can only be a troll. Nobody can be that stupid to honestly complain about a company improving their product, on the fly, for free.

Bravo Mr/Mrs/Ms Troll, bravo indeed.

What is really annoying? -Titan bridge bug for years, local standings bug, grid standings bug, server socket closed, lag like if you were dancing under strobe spotlights in the 80's

Patches to FIX stuff are not annoying, those are good.
