It should get ganked any moment now, it's no longer in the rookie system.

Go boldly forth, brave adv... >BLAP!<
Lol

Seriously - consider the state of technology then. Look at what they achieved. Imagine what we could do now if only we had the vision and motivation.

Physicists are still arguing about the technical limits of the suns influence, some say it's left and others say not quite yet
I imagine there will be a few interesting papers published about it over the next couple of years.

The bit that's always confused me, is the disk
Who or what exactly is ever going to see it in the next 300,000-500,000 years
and after that amount of time, will it even matter by then anymore.

Apart from the occasional stray orphan planet there's nothing in interstellar space worth being there for

Just in case.

It seems Voyger is is detecting something out there and with at least 10 years of life left it still isn't done discovering things.

Yeah .. it's an excellent chance to get good solid data on conditions between the stars, hence my comment about interesting papers getting published.

It's just afaik it isn't really aimed at anything significant like another star
i think its more probable, if we manage to survive as a species, that we'll reach which ever other star its heading towards before it does.

It detected a 'shriek' just as it exited the solar system and it automatically started spamming d-scan.
