For me I scann for ships and I see them in the scanner list but nothing on the map, like no red dots or cicrcles....its imposible to do anything right now.

Same for me. I had a ship at 87% yet it never appeared on the system map so I couldn't pinpoint it.

Combat probing really does suck big time at the moment, so much so, I've given up on it until CCP fix it. I don't know if DT has/or will fix it but when I was scanning before DT, I had one ship at 12%, it apparently was a battleship, another ship at 27% and it didn't say what type it was.

I rarely come on the forums to ***** and whine but this bug really has annoyed me gameplay wise

There is no point playing the game at the moment for what I spend most of my time doing. I like to WH dive and find stuff to kill. If the ships are in an anomaly then the chances of the anoms showing on the map to D-scan down atm is low and then if they are in space combats don't work.
CCP please fix this as a matter of urgency because there is no point me paying my subs atm.

The problem I'm encountering is that the red spheres do not appear in the solar system map any longer. If you can scan the signal down enough for it to turn into a dot then it appears again. This is the same for both combat probes and core probes. Sometimes you can double click on the signal to center the map on it to get an idea of where it is but otherwise you have to use the sensor overlay and figure out where it is relative to your ship to figure out where to scan. Obviously you can't use the sensor overlay for anything but anomalies so this effectively makes combat probes almost useless.

Is this intentional? It makes no sense.

I've been having sigs at 0m, I'm pretty sure they are real sigs just glitching out, which sucks btw, since scanning is essential in a wormhole.

Also, after I get 5% on a ship the result does not appear on my map at all, so whoever decides to pop by inside my corp's wh can just sit in a deadspace pocket and be virtually untouchable.

Please fix scanning CCP, it's like 90% of wh life.

Judging by CCP's responses I'd say your ETA is next expansion. A fundamental part of the game fubarred and they're not hot patching it. Wonderful.

Pre-last patch, the system was working great, a little awkward, sure. Then CCP said, nope, not broke enough. Post-last patch...."Here's a rubix cube, go Fk yourself!".....

Thank you again CCP for what is obviously extraordinary measures taken to make sure expansion after expansion, patch after patch random code isn't just thrown out there with zero quality testing beyond to see if it works at all. It's very clear to us, your customers, that you're quality assurance is top notch with extremely high thresholds before allowing code to be released into your production environments. It's amazing, that with your quality standards, any bugs make it through at all. Roll

CCP, if you can't be arsed to test your works, then why don't you funnel your codeflow from the desk, to SiSI and then on to Tranquility, you know.....AFTER glaring, obvious, pronounced, game breaking bugs make it into your production environment. It would certainly be a lot better than what you force upon us now which is from the desks of drunk devs directly to Tranquility?

I mean, you're not using SiSi for for anything like player feedback anyway.....oh wait....

Don't ban me, bro!

Ok, so from a few reports and confirmation. I have currently two further issues that will get fixed:
Initial scanning of the system will not show the location of signatures (0m, 0% and nothing visible on map.) Probe hits after this will be fine for signatures.

Combat probing, no red dots are being displayed during this process.

If there is anything else, I'm watching here. I am scanning myself all day today, but so far these are the two issues that people will run into.

YES! Please fix this ASAP! Kinda hard to probe people down In missions or safes if we don't know where to re-center our probe group....

EDIT: Also found a workaround for Combat probes: recall and relaunch probes and move them around on the relaunch. I don't know if this is what started to get a scan to work but it did a few times. vOv However, the time to do this scares off your prey unless they are so noob they don't even know you are scanning for them....

Hope this thing gets patched today... And why wasn't this found during QA? Basic stuff...

I'm somewhat disappointed that we haven't heard anything from CCP about when a fix for this issue will be forthcoming. As a wormhole dweller this has completely borked the game for me

scanning is super messed up atm

i ran this scan 4-5 times in the same spot, trying to get the distance to match the actual distance

as you can see i am inside my own probe result range (on GRID with the targets) with 0.5 AU probes, yet the result is saying 32.99 AU. maybe this has to do with where i launched the probes/where i scanned them FIRST (32.99 AU away), and it "remembers" that info and doesnt replace it with the new info

idk i havent tested it much, i just know its not working at all. here's another pretty weird example
http://i.imgur.com/QiUBVPy.jpg
every single result is at 262 KM, even though they clearly arent all at 262 KM away

i have no idea what you broke with this but plz make it a priority, bombing is extremely difficult without probes working properly

CCP? Beuller?

I know a weekend was there. But this should be critical - so much of the game relies on it.

Some kind of update please.

As soon as you do, file a bug report please. I can't really do anything with a forum post, but when you file a bug report from in game (F12, Report Bug) it sends the log files with any errors happening that I can easily identify and action upon.

By "ghost sig" do you mean a single result that shows two locations?

If so, that's expected when only three probes hit a sig.
