Hey folks,

Recently moved out to Drone Region and curious as to what people are using to Rat/Plex in and what kind of money they are making?

Do not intend this as a flame war, just curious as how to get the most money for my bang.

EFT says 297 DPS and a tank of 201 ehp/s against drones. The Truesec is bad, so I think there will be no Hordes or Patrols even highest upgrade. So is fit good for the lower anos?

In a few days I can upgrade to a Raven. I know, it is not the best ISK/h but it is just for fun and to give variety.

im not sure the ab will help you speed tank with such a big sig radius

at 297 kinetic dps it will be slow going. get a raven with mjollnir cruise missiles asap

You'd be better off with a long-range Dominix (3 DLA's in the highs, triple ODL's mids, 3-slot tank and damage mods in low)

Warping to 100km off eg. Drone Hordes alleviates a lot of incoming damage, and the Domi can project over 600dps to that range and beyond with Curator II's.

Garde II's were the biz until the slight nerf to the Domi bonuses recently, but with a little bling (Fed Navy ODL's, which aren't that expensive) you can still get 85km optimal from them. The main problem is that warping to X distance from a Horde is a bit of a lottery; sometimes you can be way off, other times you land far too close. Hence the LR Domi is a safer choice.

just fit a mjd, if you land in a bad spot you can always jump to you optimal, you can do the same if the rats start getting close and you need some range to tank.

With 3 tracking links and curator II's you have good range, so you can error on the side of caution when jumping into optimal.

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

if you can use sentry 2s a domi is far better than a raven, I assume your SP are too low for this tho.

you dont need an em ward vs drones, here is their damage profile...

personally i dont like cap flux coils, i prefer PDU or a DC

don't be afraid to use a heavy cap booster with 400s in it, it frees up so many slots which would have otherwise been used for cap mods

I was plexing hordes in a tachy nightmare , just land in at 0 and light drones on close little ones

Didn't test it because at time it had -1 launcher and my skill was not so great but a shield tanked republic typhon with cruise missile and sentry t2 can be a great plexer and belt-ratting ship
Have nice scan res and agility for a bs

Tank is plenty ( 465 sustained in uniform damage ) to do no move in hordes and its cap stable
EFT dps is 1359 but will stick with t1 normal missiles to deal with medium targets easily ( still 1100 dps pure EM )
All stats without implants ( fell fre to had crystals,booster, gang bonusses and dps/cap implants and pimp more gank )
the 2 artillery are about 100 dps and can be replaced with a automared-target/drone link or what youy prefer
