5% reduced Capacitor use - Module Benifit

So obviously this is a good thing as a Logistics pilot. However I have a question...

I'm studying "Remote Armor Repair V" which will give me 5% reduced capacitor needs for remote armor repair modules...
What does that 5% come off of, the Capacitor use of the module before any of my benefits are applied? Or is it based on the current capacitor use per cycle that shows in my "Get Info" screen with all my other skills reductions applied...

Any info would be great, thanks in advance.

Bonuses are multiplicative, not additive. So if you have two -50% bonuses, you get a -75% bonus total (ignoring stacking penalties, but they don't apply here).

ie, 1 * 0.5 * 0.5 = 0.25

EDIT: Further clarification. Additional levels in a skill are additive to that multiplier, not multiplicative. So at level 5 in a skill, your total modifier is;

(-0.05*5) = -25%

And it's NOT;

0.95^5 = 0.774 = -22.62%

Note that the first way (ie, the way it actually works) is better for bonuses which are negatives, and worse for bonuses which are positives.

To make it simple, difference in between lvl4 and 5 is not only 8/9D vs 25/30, it's also cap stability or not, be able to fit larger modules or not etc.
Logistics wise having lvl5 logi is a must have has it is remote repair systems and energy, makes the whole difference.
