CCP! Launcher locking male charater .stuff file causing update and repair failure

first CCP, how are we supposed to post logs with a forum char limit and that idiot "can't post html" junk... So eve log code is html????

so my issue is that resCharacterModularMale.stuff gets locked by the update process and then fails with a permission denied error (presumably because you just locked the file... duh).

the file gets locked on the os level and moving all the other files to a new folder and copying in a new stuff file from an unpatched mirror install caused the same failure when the updater was run.

so the file is being locked by the patcher and then cant update it.

the repair tool fails in the exact same manner

Same symptoms here, I wouldn't know about cause.

so do we get some sort of official reply here or is it time to unsub?

obviously we can't log in to shoot the monument this time....
