Epithal (PI Indy ship) broken

Hello all,

The Epithal was supposed to be the PI ship however it's got a bug. It can not deploy PI Command Centers. The cargo hold is not big enough to fit a Command Center, and the PI Hold won't take them either. It make very little sense to have a ship specializing in PI that can not even deploy a PI setup.

Can we get a Dev to weigh in on this perhaps? If for no reason then to help me understand why?

This is not a bug.

A Command Center is not a PI product, and therefore cannot be stored in the special bay.

The Epithal is a PI hauler, not a PI installer. Try a different industrial or the Primae. You can use cargo modules to give the Epithal enough capacity to carry two command centres if you really need to deploy them that frequently.

As the posters above already mentioned, the Epithal is meant to move PI products. And it's perfect for that. Maybe even on the brink of being too good. Simply use another industrial to deploy your command centers.

You can deploy command center but you need cargo expanders. Btw I just realised that we can't jettison from the specialized cargo holds. Is this intended or just an overlooked aspect?

You know, those low slots can be used for cargo expanders which DO make it so you can carry command centers... so whats the problem?
