Hy everyone.

I buyed 60 days Eve time code from my local retailer, today they sent me via email dat. file containing the code.

How to open properly dat files?


I opened it with free file viewer and I see numbers and capital letters in two columns, alot of them.


This is my 3`rd trial account in past 3 years but now I want to start for real because I really like the game, so I bought 60 days for now.


Can anyone help me, I am really confused with that file in my email.

Thank you in advance.



EDIT:

Ok, I changed the file exstenzion to jpg and it is image after all, and I can see the code.

For future reference, notepad++ is a great tool for these sorts of problems.

To use your eve time code, log into the game, press esc to bring up the settings menu.

At the bottom left there will be a button that says "redeem ETC". Put the code in there and it will give you two PLEX.

Make sure you redeem at a station that you want the PLEX in. Don't be that guy moving two PLEX to Jita in a shuttle.
